A Triathlon Road Trip

Miles officially went on his third road trip. He's a traveling machine! We headed up to Deep Creek Lake, MD again. This time for the Savageman Triathlon where Miles was going to have his first Triathlon experience. "Uncle" Ken convinced Geoff and I to do a half Ironman relay with him.

So 2 months after delivery, and 8 weeks post surgery I did the 1.2 mile swim, Geoff did the 56 savage beast of a bike, and Ken ran the tough half marathon. It all went great including the "Miles" hand-off at transition. Thanks Ken for getting us out there! It was a blast even with baby in tow. We even podium placed! Here are the only pics we took:

First Bath in the Tub

Here are pictures of Miles first bath in the tub. We waited to put him in the tub until he was 2 months for some silly reason. What a fun time for all three of us!

Miles is now 1 1/2 months old. He gained 3 pounds by his 1 month appointment, weighing 8 lbs, 11 oz! He's lost almost all of the red hair on the top of his head but it is coming back in blonde now. New things he does:

• Follows you with his eyes.
  
• Smiles at you (once in a while).
• Getting his own looks and expressions.
  
• Moves across the blanket when set on his tummy (as he trying to eat it).
